Women living with heart disease—including those with Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD)—often report higher rates of adverse drug reactions, more frequent and severe side effects, and feeling dismissed when concerns about medications are raised. Yet these lived experiences are rarely captured in ways that meaningfully influence clinical practice, dosing guidance, or pharmaceutical decision-making. Through the Women’s Experiences with Cardiovascular Medications: A Patient Voice Survey, Her Heart Sounds is elevating the voices of women who know firsthand what it means to navigate treatment while balancing side effects, quality of life, and recovery. This confidential survey provides SCAD survivors and other women with cardiovascular conditions an opportunity to share their real-world experiences—what worked, what didn’t, and where care fell short. Your voice matters. By participating, you help shape advocacy efforts, inform a patient-centered white paper, and drive conversations with clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders toward safer, more effective, and more respectful care for women’s hearts.
